Where is my download?
Your purchase is a digital product. No physical item will be posted to you.
Once your payment has been successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation and a separate email containing your download link.
If you cannot find the email:
- Check your spam, junk or promotions folder.
- Search your inbox for “The Mum Edit”.
- Make sure you are checking the email address used at checkout.
- Allow a few minutes for the email to arrive.
- If possible, open the download link on a computer rather than inside an email preview.
We recommend downloading the files to your device and saving a backup copy somewhere easy to find.
If your download email has not arrived or your link is not working, contact us at hello@themumedit.com.au with your name and order number.
How do I open a ZIP file?
Some Mum Edit products include several files grouped together in a ZIP folder. A ZIP folder keeps the files organised and allows you to download them together.
You will need to download and extract the ZIP folder before opening the individual PDF files.

- Right-click the ZIP file.
- Select Extract All.
- Choose where you would like to save the files.

- Double-click the ZIP file.
- A new folder containing your files will appear automatically.
- Open the folder to view your PDF files.
On an iPhone or iPad
- Download the ZIP file to the Files app.
- Open the Files app.
- Find the ZIP file in your Downloads folder.
- Tap the ZIP file once.
- A new folder will be created automatically.
- Tap the new folder to view your PDF files.
On an Android device
- Download the ZIP file.
- Open the Files or My Files app.
- Find the ZIP file in your Downloads folder.
- Tap the file and select Extract.
- Open the extracted folder to view your PDF files.
The exact wording may vary slightly depending on your device. If you are having difficulty, try downloading the files on a desktop or laptop computer.
Which paper size should I choose?
Choose the file that matches the paper commonly used by your printer.
Choose A4 if you are printing in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or most other countries.
Before printing, check that the paper size selected in your printer settings matches the version of the file you have opened.
For example:
- A4 file: select A4
Using the matching paper size will help the pages, cards and cutting guides print at the intended size.
How should I print the files?
The files can be printed at home or through a local or online printing service.
For the best results:
- Download and save the files to your device.
- Open the PDF using a PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Select the correct paper size for your file.
- Set the print scale to Actual Size or 100%.
- Do not select Fit to Page unless a small change in the finished size is acceptable.
- Select portrait or landscape orientation as shown in the file.
- Choose colour printing for the intended design.
- Print one test page before printing the entire product.
Standard printer paper is suitable for checklists, guides and parent information pages.
For routine cards and routine boards, we recommend using white cardstock or thicker paper for added durability. You may also choose to laminate frequently used pages and cards so they can be reused.
Always follow the instructions supplied with your printer, laminator and chosen materials. Adults should complete all cutting and assembly. Keep small pieces and accessories away from babies and young children.
Colours may appear slightly different when printed due to differences between screens, printers, ink and paper.
